The Gorican Grand Prix was a great beginner for last season’s series. As a tour, we stayed in the romantic Hungarian capital of Budapest. Everyone loved the sophistication of this most romantic city…added to many tourist attractions; cruise the Danube or enjoy a sumptuous meal in many of the inexpensive restaurants and cafes.

Itinerary
Friday 28th April 2023:
We have a series of flights from around the UK direct to this magnificent capital city of Hungary. The actual city is split across the romantic River Danube with our accommodation in the busy heart of ‘Buda’. Transfer time is about 45 minutes as we check-in to the luxurious COURTYARD by MARRIOTT hotel right on the main boulevard. Facilities at the hotel are some of the best in this busy city.
Saturday 29th April 2023:
GRAND PRIX DAY
Time to relax after having a sumptuous breakfast before we leave after lunch for the 2hr journey on the fast motorway. We pass Europe’s largest inland lake at BALLATON before crossing into CROATIA. Formalities are brief but aways better to bring your passport. GORICAN SPEEDWAY STADIUM is superb, built by the Pavlic family to the highest specification. Viewing is superb and the racing always extremely fast and the catering superb.
Sunday 30th April 2023:
Time to explore and enjoy this wonderful city. Maybe just sit back and enjoy a leisurely cruise along the River Danube with its many huge river cruise vessels. The city is famous for its massive THERMAL BATHS, said to be the best in Europe. Alternatively book on an afternoon city tour with a multi-lingual guide describing the many facets of its history.

It’s MAY DAY and celebrations everywhere and a public holiday throughout Europe. Our series of flights will leave the very new international airport for the short journey back to your UK departure point. Don’t forget DUTY FREE SHOPPING at the airport is great value.
