Itinerary
Friday 11th August 2023:
We have DIRECT flights leaving both LUTON and STANSTED for the journey across Europe to the beautiful city of RIGA, capital of LATVIA. This is very much a PEAK SUMMER destination and with long summer days it makes for a great weekend. Our city centre hotel will be the luxurious RADISSON BLU. Friday evening will be the TEAM SPEEDWAY UNDER-21 meeting at the much improved BIKERNIEKI stadium.
Saturday 12th August 2023:
GRAND PRIX DAY
Shopping and eating in RIGA is very reasonably priced and the quality is always of the highest standard. Take an enjoyable morning stroll around the nearby city centre before a relaxing lunch. With long summer days, this should be a lovely weekend. Later, we transfer to the BIKERNIEKI stadium and the GRAND PRIX of LATVIA.
Sunday 13th August 2023:
Sunday is the official rain-off day, but in mid-summer that is something that should not trouble us – time to relax and enjoy what the area has to offer. Should there be a POLISH LEAGUE match at DAUGAVPILS, we will be making this a full day optional quality event.
Monday 14th August 2023:
We have departures from the nearby international airport back across the Baltic and western Europe before landing back at your local UK airport.

Your Hotel
Rising over the whole of this truly beautiful city, the RADISSON BLU hotel is a tremendous 4 star property. All rooms have superb views all over the city and the top-floor bar has the best and most spectacular views of all. Only a few minutes’ walk through a lovely park to the Old Town, which is a thriving, bustling area of bars, cafes and restaurants.
