Flight and Tour Information

FLIGHTS & AIRPORTS

We endeavour to make sure your travel is both comfortable and trouble free. Occasionally, flight times and schedules are changed after we have published our brochure. This is particularly relevant as a result of the still ongoing Coronavirus pandemic where some services withdrawn in 2021 have yet to resume. Should this occur, we will make every effort to offer you an alternative choice where possible.

ALL FLIGHT BOOKINGS WILL BE MADE UNDER THE PREVAILING RULES (INCLUDING COVID REGULATIONS) ISSUED BY H.M. GOVERNMENT AND THE AIRINE CARRIER.

HOTELS AND TRANSFERS

All our hotels are carefully chosen and inspected by our staff or local agents. You may be assured that accommodation is of a satisfactory standard and breakfast is always included. Should you have any special requests (including disability requirements), make sure we know this as early as possible. It is your responsibility to locate any fire exits and read any health & safety notices at hotel and stadium. Finally, we use trusted ground handling agents and insist on modern, well-maintained tour coaches.

SPEEDWAY SEATS AND EXCURSIONS

On all of our tours, we arrange pre-booked stadium tickets and you will normally be accommodated as a group – occasionally Grand Prix tickets may be in different sections depending on the size of the enclosure. If you are hoping to travel with others not named on your booking form, please advise early so that we can get you seated together if required. WE DO NOT SELL STADIUM TICKETS OUTSIDE OF OUR TOUR CLIENTS.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

It is essential that you have a current passport valid for at least SIX months longer than the duration of your stay. It is ESSENTIAL that the name on your airline travel documents is the same as shown in your passport and it is your responsibility to make sure the detail shown for ALL travellers on the booking form is correct when you complete this. Incorrect information can lead to substantial airline charges for late amendments (the cost of which will be passed on to you) or even refusal to allow you to board a flight.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Many clients now have ANNUAL TRAVEL INSURANCE or have their own preferred insurer. This is acceptable. HOWEVER WE DO INSIST THAT ALL CLIENTS MUST HAVE FULL TRAVEL INSURANCE to cover all eventualities…most especially, all clients must have FULL COVID PROTECTION within their cover. We will require details of your insurance company and the relevant policy number. We will not accept any reservation without this information.

FINANCIAL GUARANTEES

We are a privately owned company. Your holidays have the financial protection and guarantees of an ABTA membership and ATOL cover, both in association with Fred. Olsen Travel Limited. For your own protection, a non-refundable Airline Failure Insurance premium of £5 per person will be added to your final invoice and you will be issued with an official ATOL certificate with your deposit receipt or confirmation invoice.

HOW TO BOOK AND WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

We always require an official signed booking form but you can always call us to check availability prior to sending by post or a copy by email to tours@tptours.co.uk. We can accept bookings by phone on (01473) 730000. A non-refundable deposit of £90.00 per person will be required at the time of booking and this may be paid by cheque (payable to Travel Plus Tours) or by debit or credit card. You may make a provisional telephone reservation, pending receipt of your booking form, and the same legal procedure & obligation will apply. A confirmation or deposit receipt will be sent to you (normally by mail or exceptionally by email) together with an ATOL certificate. This represents a contract between all parties. You will also receive a final invoice two months prior to your UK departure and payment should be made to us by the due date in accordance with our Booking Conditions which you should always CAREFULLY READ.

ABTA

Travel Plus Tours are securely financially bonded and licensed by both ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents)... and the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) with a CAA/ATOL licence. We are big enough to provide you with security, yet small enough to care for each client.
