Just when you think your 2024 speedway has ended for the season, we have been invited to a wonderful weekend on LAKE GARDA and the beautiful destination of VENICE. A wonderful weekend for those who love the “Land of Castagna”.
Not only a late summer long weekend by the Lake but also some top class Speedway at Lonigo... plus a day to Venice.

Itinerary
Friday 18th October 2024:
We have a whole series of flights from STANSTED, MANCHESTER, EDINBURGH direct to Northern Italy and our “Lakeside” base at DESENZANO. Our Hotel Vittorio is based right in the heart of this quaint Lakeside town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
Saturday 19th October:
Time to enjoy your breakfast before joining our “optional” tour to VENICE. Driving on the Autostrada is always an experience. We arrive at the bus park, and take the Water taxi across the lagoon directly to St Mark’s Square.
So much to see and do. Maybe the RIALTO BRDGE..GRAND CANAL..PIAZZA SAN MARCO..ST MARKS’ BASILICA..everything you have seen on the many TV travel programmes. Prices in Venice are extremely high. But you can never buy the experience of visiting this magnificent destination.
Sunday 20th October:
EUROPEAN PAIRS FINAL
We leave late morning again along the Autostrada to the famous LONIGO Speedway stadium. The town itself is typically Italian. All roads, and people head for this fast spectacular track which has hosted many a major Championship over the years. We plan to arrive back in Descension early evening.
Monday 21st October:
Time to depart this lovely tranquil area of Northern Italy. Our flights back from BERGAMO will depart during the day and have you back home to look forward to Christmas and our 2025 brochure!
